Gender Selection

The process of gender selection via sperm sorting increases the chance of having a female or male child. This is done by separating sperm that bear the X chromosome (female) and those that bear the Y chromosome (male), and inseminating those sperm rich fractions for whichever sample is desired.

The procedure can be employed for couples who want to have their first child of a specific gender or wish to have a specific gender child to balance the sex of their children, otherwise known as family balancing. Our success rate is approximately 80% for the male selection and 72% for the female selection.
